Good to know
Buyer may pay sales tax; eBay's final value fee is calculated on the total amount of the sale including sales tax, but tax itself is remitted and is not part of your payout. This calculator models pre-tax totals.
Final value fee of 13.6% applies to the total amount of the sale (item price + shipping + handling) up to $7,500 calculated per item; a 2.35% rate applies to the portion over $7,500 (rare; not modeled). Payment processing is included in the final value fee — eBay states you don't pay separate third-party payment processing fees. Per-order fee: $0.30 for orders of $10.00 or less, $0.40 for orders over $10.00. Rates shown are for most categories; some categories differ (e.g. Books/Movies/Music 15.3%, sneakers over $150 8%, watches/jewelry vary).
